Sweet mother Nine months of restlessness Nine months of struggles Nine months of not eating what you want to eat Nine months of not wearing what you'd love to wear Nine months of patience Then finally, A whole day of pain and restlessness Two years of relentless weaning and breastfeeding Half of these enough for you to hate me But instead you showed me so much love And even in my childish stubbornness you cared for me As a child you took care of me, taught me, and put me through the right track Countless times I have brought tears to your eyes, and each time you cry I see tears of hope lurking around your eyes Hope that one day I'd grow into a flawless woman How can I repay: The milk that sustained me as a child The stress you went through by bringing me up The fear in your eyes each times I fall I'll The worries on your face each time I get injured The sadness on your face when I don't eat The care in your voice each time you advise me on...
